First a note about Preferred Vendors.  It has always been the policy of Colonial DJs never to pay for or accept anything of value for referrals.  Not only is it unethical, but it’s also illegal!  If you are given a referral, ask if the referral is based on quality of work or are they receiving anything of value in return.  Be sure the referral is given with YOUR best interest in mind.
